Cycle for Survival is a national movement to beat rare cancers.100% of donations fund rare cancer research led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In 2018, 34,000 participants rode 7,600 bikes in 16 cities and were supported by 230,000 donors to raise $39 million. Joelle is proud her team raised $3,880—nearly double their goal. Together, we ride so rare cancer patients can live longer, better lives.

All Hands is a volunteer-powered not-for-profit that delivers disaster relief both domestically and internationally. Along with family and friends, I visited St. Thomas to support those devastated by hurricanes Irma and Maria in the US Virgin Islands.

Worldwide Orphans transform the lives of children and communities in need. I volunteered at AHOPE in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, served on the foundation's annual gala planning committee for five years and fostered strategic partnerships for this important organization.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society's mission is to cure MS while empowering people affected by MS to live their best lives. As a volunteer elected to chair the Manhattan Society's gala fundraiser, bringing in the highest proceeds to that date.

A long-time supporter and member of New York Road Runners, I have participated in numerous NYRR events, including four half marathons and, in 2008, the New York City Marathon.
