Joelle was a sales and marketing executive managing global partnerships and licensing deals at Time Inc. International. She joined Time Inc. first in marketing, then in sales at InStyle. While with BMG Entertainment, she identified, negotiated and executed strategic partnerships, working with brand leaders Pepsi, General Mills, Walmart and P&G.

Joelle was a key member of American Express’s Global Media and Sponsorship Marketing department. There, she negotiated, developed and managed the marketing plans and media spend on key entertainment properties such as Madison Square Garden, Sundance Film Festival and The Academy Awards. She managed sports partners such as the NBA, New York Knicks and Rangers, the Miami Dolphins and the US Open Tennis Tournament as well as multiple golf tournaments.  

Sony Music provided Joelle her entrée into entertainment, joining Columbia Records' product marketing department. After conceiving of and launching a high school representative program, she quickly ascended to director of sales, responsible for creating and executing marketing and sales programs in the New York, New England and Mid-Atlantic branches, comprising fifty percent of the company’s retail revenues. 

She began her career at JWT, where she was a client liaison for media planning and buying for key accounts, including Nestle USA and Reynolds Metals.
